I have participated in recruitment as a PNM and an active, and while I don’t have knowledge of all the inner workings, I still think things could be improved. I definitely see what you’re saying, a lot of work goes into making recruitment what it is. Maybe that is the problem. Maybe it needs to be more organic. Recruitment definitely functions very efficiently as is, and I know great strides have been made to maximize women’s options and opportunity. I am certainly not disgruntled, I very much enjoyed my time in my sorority as a collegiate member, but I would love to brain storm more potential ideas as to what else could be done to improve the process. Like you said, nothing will make everyone happy and my opinion is just one of many. Maybe “massive overhaul” was poor phrasing, I just wish there was some way to inject more time getting to know PNMs in person and the PNMs getting to know the houses in person.
