Yes yes and yes. All of the above and then some. It's not that we have a double standard, it's just that there are only so many bids each sorority can pass out. Your reputation can absolutely make or break you. In my sorority, if there are multiple active's pulling for you, and the alumni don't catch wind of your indiscretions, then there are all kinds of mistakes that can be covered up. But if we don't know you, or are looking for a reason to have you removed from our lists, then your bad behavior is all the ammunition we need. Trust me when I say that 9 times out of 10 our alumni know more about you than we do. They are in constant contact with alumni groups nationwide. Your reputation will follow you! If you make a fool of yourself in the dorms, other pnm's who view you as a threat will not hesitate to our your indiscretions! Be smart and make good choices.
