It's a shame but I can see DphiE and ASA being affected. With three unhoused sororities they all rotated between the top off campus fraternities and the bottom on campus ones. Now, TPA will be pairing with housed fraternities and the occasional pair with Pike or Skulls. With ten or so unhoused fraternities and two unhoused fraternities its inevitable that fraternities are going to disaffiliate or disband. ASA is a lot more stable than DphiE. If I joined DphiE this year I would be very discouraged with the housing situation. I heard a lot of rumors about the new members being told they would move into Delts and now it doesn't look like a possibility. ASA has their office space and a majority of the girls live nearby. The real winner here is SK. They came onto campus and got a house in less than a year. They didn't even entertain pairs with lower tiered fraternities. To be fair, their dues (1200 per semester) are 2x what girls in ASA, TPA, and DphiE pay. Money talks, and SK made it known they are here to stay.
