Greek life here at IU is one of the best in the country, but like anything it is not perfect. People complain about tiers being superficial and don't get me wrong they are but they hold true in terms of house establishment and the general consensus about how the members are (girls= hot?/ guys= cool?). There are beautiful girls and cool guys in just about every house but really the tiers should be a gauge for where you fit in terms of who you are. Just because you aren't a top house kind of person, does not mean you are not beautiful or a cool guy. It means you are more beautiful or cool at a different tier. Wherever you fall, you should be happy because that's where you ought to be. Rushing is a matchmaking system. So forget the tiers and focus that energy on having the greatest time while you are here for four years.
