The accompanying diagram shows the layout of the Chapter room prepared for the Initiatory Ceremony, and the positions of the Officers. The altar table contains (1) a Bible, (2) skull urn lamps, (3) a copy of the Ritual, (4) the candelabra, and (5) a cushion on which the badges are placed. Behind the table are (6) the SMC, (7) the SC, and (8) the ThC. TO the side, (9) is the SC's table, on which is placed the Chapter Membership Record book, used in Section 11. The members indicated by X's, are seated along the walls, leaving the center aisle clear.
