Every year in the summer girls come on here nervous about grades during rush. Just go through and see what happens. Or if you think you should focus on school then do that for your first year and go through recruitment as a sophomore. Also, I don't think a PNM should already know what house they want, but if you already think you want a house that is known for looking for the more superficial things (looks, popularity, etc), those houses will still do grade cuts initially. Like an above poster said there are attractive girls all over this campus with good GPAs so even the houses with high return rates have no issue cutting girls with low GPAs.
