1934 was the height of the Great Depression, and sorority chapters around the country were hit hard by it. Ex: AOII at Oklahoma, which recolonized in 2002, closed in 1933 because none of their members could afford to stay in school. Not saying that's what happened to KD, but I wouldn't be surprised.
