is that the OOS parents are wealthy enough to afford OOS tuition and sorority life. So you either have wealthy Texas families or you have wealthy OOS families and then you have successful blue collar type families (restaurant owner, etc). Either way, there is plenty of money backing up the actives in all chapters at UT. There is a higher cost compared to other Texas schools with greek life (SMU, etc) but honestly, it's just not the same as being greek at The University of Texas.
