IFC placed the suspension on themselves so they have the power to remove the suspension, because if they didnt a higher authority would have suspended greek life and no one would have any say as to when the suspension was lifted. it sucks now, but the alternative would've been a lot worse. my guess is the suspension will be lifted at the start of the new semester
