Already posted this in another discussion thread but who cares how hard a pledging process is? By hard do you mean you get hazed more and have to slam massive amounts of alcohol? In this day and age, the idea of hazing is ridiculous -- not to mention will get your house and its decades of history kicked off campus in a hot minute. If a house likes a guy and think he fits well and will do great things for the fraternity, that should be enough. Have him go through the pledging process as set forth by the national office and initiate him if he gets through it. Enough of this bull crap for a guy to prove his worth by how much he drinks or parties.
