- Going to be honest here, this isn't the best place to find non-biased descriptions of the sororities on campus, the best way is to go on their websites (just google (sorority) carleton university) - There are 3 NPC(national panhellenic conference) sororities (AOII, PhiSig, DPhiE) which people consider as the international sororities. (at UOttawa, there is also APhi and TriDelt) - locals are the ones that are only at carleton/UOttawa/Algonquin - Nationals are the ones that are found only across canada - Alpha Pi Phi is an exception, they do have a very small chapter in the states but they are not panhel so it is debatable whether they are international or not - you will likely know by the end of the week which sororities are doing a winter rush/recruitment
