Why do women always feel the need to put each other down? First off, there's beauty in everyone, and yes the girls that win typically are pretty girls, but many of them are also very genuine and down to earth. Those things aren't mutually exclusive. Though on the outside, it may seem like what they do is bake for fraternities or party with them, I don't think that's the case from what I've seen. a lot of the women that won this year are close to their respective fraternities. The girls that just bake and party usually don't win (sometimes they do) but I've noticed that girls that do usually get sweetheart are close friends with the entire chapter outside of parties, they're genuine & kind, and they help out in a lot of ways (setting up for things, helping decorate, showing up to philanthropy and social events), and supporting whatever fraternity chapter at things like sports games (rec, storm the wall, captaining their philanthropy team, etc). If you think about it, it's not much different from the guys that win sorority sweetheart so why are we being so negative towards the women that win? It's cool to see sororities and fraternities being supportive of each other and recognizing people for the nice things they do whether it's just baking or doing much more like supporting philanthropy events. It appeals to some and not at all to others so live and let live. Congratulations to all the wonderful women that won this year (and gentlemen that won sorority sweethearts too)
