Not arguing with anything else that was said. Technically you might be a legacy, I was just trying to say that it will not carry much weight if it is a different school and it definitely does not guarantee membership. So OK, strictly speaking you are technically a "legacy". But now that we have resolved that, put it completely out of your mind because that will not help you choose the right house for you, and no one at this school knows your mother or aunt. The other advice given was very good, so I think we are all on the same page. Good luck.
