Repost from last week: This is why SMU rush is so completely rigged. Most Universities have rush in the fall as soon as classes are about to begin and the sororities go by your recs and rush week only. Sure, you might be a legacy, or there may be someone older from your high school there that knows you or your family, but to the majority of your sororities, you are a fresh face and that’s all they have to go by. There is no entire semester of being scrutinized or making friends or enemies. That’s why fall rush at another university and transferring again is so enticing. Who wants to be blacklisted their next 3 years at SMU and at SMU prices! NOT worth it SMU!
