I could see what you mean I just think it got expressed the wrong way.... My first opinion is anything you think you know about frats, erase it from your head... Every frat will have the one or two stereotypical frat guys but most try to stray away from them. Your GPA will make you look good, lessssbereal, almost every frat is trying too build their gpa up, and with yours it will benefit them greatly. Most house are trying too become diverse, so that will also help that you are a minority. Sleeping porches may be rough but they aren't "awful".... With some frats you may not have to even live in once since your not a freshmen... Some house won't even make you "live in" but they might expect you too be a live out which means throwing parties. So beWare of that. Living in a frat can definitely be fun, but I can see your concerns. There will definitely be time for you to do other things. During pledging it will be hard ass hell especially with you doing sports but not impossible. Houses to stay away from: ATO, TKE, and FIJI Houses I would recommend: Pi Kapps, SAE, BETA Good luck :)
