Hey! Okay there's a lot of negativity here. I have honestly spent a fair amount of time at phi tau so I know what I'm talking about. I was a GDI my freshman year and this was one of the only frats I was comfortable going to because they were nice to me and didn't make me feel weird for not being in the GS. They don't have parties very often so they don't have a strong rep or a group of girls that always go over like some frats do, this makes it harder for them to ever have successful parties but a strong social chair could turn this around. The guys are smart, kind, awkward and dorky. They get along well with each other and don't have a lot of drama, but they aren't that socially connected to the rest of the greek community. If you like the brothers don't be afraid of joining, at the end of the day you're not joining "a house" you're deciding on a group of people to live with and be friends with, so go with your gut.
