Subject:
rush spring 2014 or as a sophomore in the fall?

Poster Message:
Hi! I'm a Spring '14 admit who decided to not do FPF. I'm eager to become a part of Greek life at Cal and I've already read up on all of the sororities. The thing is, I'm not sure whether I should rush in the spring (when I arrive on campus) or in the fall of my sophomore year. I know that not all houses offer COB, and if I rush in the spring I run the risk of regretting that my first choice was not available to me. But then again, if I rush in the fall, I will have lost even one more semester of not being part of a sorority at all. What do you suggest? Are there any houses that are extremely hesitant to take on sophomore pledges? Thank you in advance!
