I didn't know anyone in sororities either, but my mom found two from ladies she works with, and one of them happened to know a bunch more and hooked me up. I did a lot of phone calls and coffee meetings, but I got my Recs. Good luck to you, check everywhere, and have your parents/grandparents do the same.
