My mom has written recs for several people who throw out a request on Facebook. So, start there and have your mom and her friends repost it. You would be surprised how many people will offer to help you out. There are some sororities that will drop you if you don’t have a rec, it’s required to have one by National. It doesn’t matter how much they love you and really want you. Sure, there are stories of girls who didn’t have a rec and they found someone to write it, but that’s few a far between. My advice is put forth the effort. Also, know that wherever you end up, you will find your people. I honestly think all the sororities here are good and have really great girls in them. Good luck!
