How does dropping pledges happen anymore with IFC all over fraternities and what they do? Do pledges have to do anything anymore because it seems if there is no dropping pledges they really don't care if they do stuff. It seemed like the hard house hours, study hours, cleaning brothers apartments, driving and being basically staff for GameDay tailgates is where these boys become respectful young men. I am not saying they should be beaten or mentally hazed but heck if the normal things are considered hazing then my parents hazed me. I had to clean my room and bathroom, wash the cars, drive my younger sibling when needed and many other things. I did not feel I was being hazed but being a part of a family where you contribute something. Sad that it has changed and that might be why each year the pledges seem like entitled jerks with women.
