former stem major

Poster Message:
i came into UCI as a stem major and switched into a bachelor of arts, and i can promise you the workload is on an entirely different gear. as a biology major, i studied every day and worked so incredibly hard to scrape by with a 3.3 gpa. when i switched into an easier major, i had no trouble getting a 4.0 every quarter even if i rolled multiple times and showed up to midterms hungover. if you are really curious how different it is, i suggest taking math 2a or chem 1a (both of which arent even the hardest of stem classes at uci) and see for yourself. it really is a whole different playing field. ive taken crim classes before and yeah there was work but it really doesnt compare to stem at all.
