Recruitment is cutthroat. Especially now that we have more quality PNMs going through every year, and KKG was kicked off campus (I say this because numbers wise we lost an additional 60+ spots for girls going through rush). And you're right, even bottom chapters cut people quite frankly. I know a lot of girls who just didn't end up with a bid at all. Sisterhood round is where you have the sororities that are actually interested in you as a member, so girls should expect to get dropped from a few houses they liked. And really, everyone fits in different chapters - not every girl is going to even want a "top tier".
