Its not a huge deal anymore, but you will usually get certain special consideration. A lot of sororities national council have gotten rid of the policy where they let in legacies almost automatically but you still have higher odds if you're a legacy though its not guaranteed like it used to be. Ive heard of legacies getting in and being dropped so it depends.
