If you go into rush to see who's "worth rushing" you'll probably be identified as a self-important little geed. Just my opinion, the top all around are Pikes, Theta Chi, KA and SAE. But SAE and Kappa Sigma are on some type of secret probation but that may or may not matter. Beta Theta Pi and Sigma Phi Epsilon are also very good, but very much unlike those first four. There are some fraternities that might surprise you. Delta Chi is very good but doesn't get much credit. Sigma Chi is new but coming on fast. There are small fraternities, and you shouldn't overlook them. They offer a different kind of experience. Phi Kappa Psi, Chi Phi, TKE, Delta Sigma Phi all offer unique small brotherhood atmospheres. If you go through rush acting like Joe Cool you'll get walked out.
