•If you only put down one house after pref, no matter how confident you are, chances are you won't get a bid. Don't suicide. •the first two days, houses initially care about how you put yourself together and the conversations. Did you brush your hair? Do you have makeup on? Are you trying? Do you look presentable? Treat this like a job interview. • Do not go in set on one house. Also, do not keep that house if you genuinely didn't like it or the conversations weren't engaging. This is the place you're spending your four years and where you will be making best friends. You will click with some houses and you won't with others. Don't force yourself to love a house because chances are you won't. •Do not talk about how drunk you got one night during summer C, about your boyfriend, or other drama. Treat this like a job interview. Of course be yourself, but you're trying to convince the house why you would be a great benefit to the chapter. •Do not mention you know someone during rush in that sorority unless you really do know them, not just "know of" them. •Letters of recommendation don't really do anything other than show you desire a house. •It's okay to talk about deep things with girls rushing you because it helps you bond with the house. Ex: sisterhood and philanthropy involvement. •If you've heard of anything bad about a sorority, chances are it's not true, it's an exaggeration, or it's out of jealousy. Be yourself and you will find your home! Goodluck pnms!
