Let me do my best to answer this as a man. 1. There aren't any real or official rankings. The rankings on this site are all superficial and have no meaning. None. 2. However, there is a social hierarchy. The fraternities with the best looking guys tend to socialize more or less exclusively with the hottest sororities. Fraternities with the most socially awkward guys tend to socialize with their counterpart sororities, and the middle chapters all socialize with each other. There are no rules or enforcement. Girls could move from one level to the next but they tend to not like to compete. They COULD but they don't. 3. Do not listen to anything you hear or read about "sisterhood", especially in terms of who has more or less of it than someone else. That's like saying that members of my family love each other more than members of your family. 4. When you decide to go through recruitment, think about what you want. Are you most interested in socializing with the hottest guys? Then join a sorority that has those connections. Is academic excellence the most important thing to you? There are sororities that make that their priority. Go through and get a feel for where you 'fit', where you're most comfortable. You may be surprised.
