So as many of you guys know, a candidate for the executive SGA election was disqualified after it was found that she asked her sorority sisters to vote for her, causing her to get about 200 more votes than her rival candidate. This post is not meant to target the girl or attack her - I have nothing against her and believe she just made an honest mistake. However, I disagree with the whole "petition" to bring her back - rules are rules and she broke them. Had she not posted in the private group, she most likely would not have won. Sure, her sisters will say that they would have voted for her even if she wasn't in their sorority but I'm a little skeptical about that. Thoughts? Once again, this is not meant to target the individual or her sorority, so please try to be civil and considerate.
