Sororities have minimum GPAs they HAVE to cut girls at. If a PNM doesn't make the GPA requirement in order for her to be carried on to the next round – VP recruitment has to get nationals permission and explain to their advisor why a grade risk is an asset to the chapter. And the first round is grade cuts- so that's a lot of work for a girl that may not even pledge or fit well in your house. My advice to you would be to try recruitment and see how it goes – if you get completely released because of your grades then work really hard your first year and get your grades up! Goodluck girl!!
